Replacement Parts for Size Reduction & Classifier Equipment
In addition to designing and producing a wide range of size reduction equipment for process industries, Blue Tech also manufactures and carries an extensive number of replacement parts for our own hammermills, air purge classifier mills (APCMs), crushers, cyclone classifiers, dust collectors and screeners. Blue Tech also manufactures and has inventory stock replacement parts for competitors' machines. Another value-added service available from Blue Tech is our ability to custom manufacture any replacement parts you may need.
Blue Tech not only produces and has in stock an extensive number of replacement parts for our own line of mills, cyclones, pulverizers, crushers, classifiers and dust collection systems, but also for Pulva, Mikro, and many other competitors' units as well. These components can be used as direct replacement parts for size reduction and processing equipment, or for purposes of rebuilding your Blue Tech or other manufacturers' machines. One example of Blue Tech's commitment to excellence in replacement components is our line of high production New Weld™ hammers. Manufactured in our Hickory, North Carolina facility, replacement hammers are available in HFS (heavy forged steel), LFS (light forged steel), and LFSS (light forged stainless steel).
New Weld™ hammers save the customer 10-15% as replacement hammers for Mikro or Pulva Mills. For one customer, New Weld™ hammers have been proven to last up to 1600% longer in a three-shift production environment, with no discernable wear after three to four months of use. Another satisfied customer reported their installed New Weld™ hammers are lasting five to ten times longer than their previous stellite hammers in a cryogenic pulverizing environment.

One satisfied client reported that Blue Tech's rebuilt parts were equal in performance and quality to new components at 20 to 30 percent lower cost, and Blue Tech new replacement parts were equal to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) components, but also at a lower cost. Rebuilt parts include hammers, rotor assemblies, as well as entire mills (hammermills, air purge classifier mills).
